One of the great things about my job (and there are a lot to choose from) is the pleasure I get from seeing former students doing well and getting their research into print. My former masters student Raheel Dhattiwala recently got a very nice paper (written with her doctoral supervisor Michael Biggs) into Politics and Society. If you can't get behind the pay-wall, there is an earlier working paper version here. Anyone who says that Oxford sociology is all about analyzing square tables couldn't be more wrong.
