I haven't posted for a while, mainly because I'm busy writing - trying to finish three papers before we pack up to come home at the end of March. So blog entries are backing up. The last couple of weeks have been good (or bad depending on your point of view) for sociology mediawise. I hope to post something soon about Peter Saunders on BBC2's Who Gets the Best Jobs, the BBC's Great British Class Survey and the oh so predictably feeble efforts of the great and good of the British Sociological Association to say something halfway intelligent about what is going on in British Higher Education.
